LF INITIATIVES
We are dedicated to supporting our members and have witnessed over the past 40+ years what this sort of investment can do. We develop leaders by connecting, developing and equipping our members through a variety of initiatives.
How We Serve Our Network
Stages Of Impact
Stages Of Impact
The SOI Online Platform is LF’s primary mechanism to increase the capacity and effectiveness of LF member cities’ work. The SOI strategy is informed by the Wheel of Change (asset-based change model) with the three strategic functions. This online platform aggregates complex data into reports and dashboards and supports the Senior Associates strategy, training curriculum, and network trend identification/predictive modeling.
Senior Associates
Senior Associates
Each of our affiliates is coached by a Senior Associate-a veteran leader who has run a successful organization, has a demonstrated track record of mentoring colleagues and embodies the Leadership Foundations vision, mission, and values. Using LF’s SOI Platform, Senior Associates work with members to develop a custom plan to deepen their impact and mastery of the Wheel Of Change.
Board Training Initiative
Board Training Initiative
The LF Board Training Initiative, in partnership with the M.J. Murdock Trust, engages staff and board leadership in an intensive year-long initiative that couples training, individualized coaching and personalized work plans to increase board engagement and performance.
