BOARD TRAINING INTIATIVE

The LF Board Training Initiative (BTI), in partnership with the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, engages staff and board leadership in an intensive year-long initiative that couples training, individualized coaching and personalized work plans to increase board engagement and performance.

Since 2016, 40 organizations have participated in the LF Board Training Initiative. The Initiative provides intensive training and coaching on best practices with the anticipated outcome of developing an effective and engaged board for all participants. Because boards are living, breathing organisms the curriculum has been designed to expand and contract based on the needs of the particular organization.
